In my opinion, this project is a tricky one to brainstorm for because of the inevitable and vast variations and possibilities that come with it. So far, though, there are a few themes i am starting to see and like. The first few labs we did to practice I ended up with a strong theme due to the randomly generated words I used and that theme was very witchy, creepy and almost morbid. I also played around with other concepts and ended up with a lot of eyeballs, which isn't really a theme but I do really have a thing for eyes so I was excited about that. The second set of labs we did (3 and 4) I continued with the morbid/creepy theme and really really liked how that turned out with the different glitch effects. I'll put my favorite result below but I would ideally like to do something along the lines of it. Additionally, I discovered that using an original photo that is either black and white or just otherwise lacking in color is really cool to do the glitch effects on because even though it started with no color, the glitch effects add color in a really unique way that I want to try to explore some more, too! Overall, I don't really have a cemented idea for what I want my final project to look like but I also think that adds to the fun of it because I'm letting randomness lead the way for what I create and although I am able to put a little bit of personality into the results, I have enjoyed the random aspect of this and am excited to see what else me and AI come up with!
